WED Fest 40th Anniversary Celebration! Can you believe we have been coming together for the environment for 40 years?! From our humble beginnings at Fairhill Nursery to the incredible festival it is today, WED Fest brings together passionate people to take action for our environment.
The Sunshine Coast Environment Council's WED Festival is a celebration of our unique environment with live performances, wholesome food, sustainable stall holders, a fun kids program, live music, innovative displays, community and environment groups to meet and learn from AND more activities than you can poke a stick at!
Each year the Festival offers a talented line up of musicians. This year's line up includes Z-Star Trinity, Dan Horne Duo, Alisha Todd and more!
An engaging journey taking you through the elements of air pollution,how it affects you and how you can help improve air pollution in your community.
The Children's Forest is a space buzzing with kids activities and performances with a theme focused on the environment!
Keynote speakers will talk on some of the key issues and challenges facing our beautiful environment.
WED Festival is proud to announce that the Renewables Expo & Working Village will be back at WED Fest 2020! Kindly developed by the Sunshine Coast Climate Action Now group, the expo seeks to showcase businesses working for a sustainable and renewable future through innovation and latest technology.
