Alisha Todd

Alisha Todd  – 1.45pm to 2.30pm on the Main Stage! From her humble beginnings being raised on country and 90’s pop in Gympie, to opening the lid of Pandora’s box of worldly delights, Alisha has sung her way through it all with a fiery passion that only grows with time.

2012 brought the much-anticipated milestone of the production of her debut EP ‘Of All Time’, a 5-track collection of country-pop inspired songs, with the official release in mid 2013. The EP was warmly received in shows supporting fellow Australian independent artists Marshall Okell and Claude Hay. 'Without Us' earned Alisha three Dolphin Awards Finalist Nominations in the categories of Vocalist of the Year, Pop Song of the Year and New Emerging Talent of the Year and 'Charlie' making finalist in Pop song of the year for both Dolphin Awards and The Music Oz awards. Following the release of her debut pop EP in 2013, Alisha set off on a 3.5 year journey of self, social and musical discovery through Europe.

2018 has seen a maturation of a new wave of material collected over the 3.5 year period, a year of preparation for the songbird as she plants her feet on home soil. With a new profound affection for jazz fusion, the rhythms encountered in late night street ciphers and drum jams and the vivid beauty of diverse landscapes imprinted on the back of her eyelids, Alisha extends her bubble of happiness with everyone she plays to through her wandering melodies and old soul delivery.

A 'Live at Sonic Vista Studios' EP, released in February 2018, gives a raw taster of new material to be heard from Alisha in 2018.
